Perfex CRM Developer for Saudi Arabia: ZATCA E-Invoicing Ready
For Saudi businesses running Perfex CRM, the biggest question is ZATCA. Since Phase 2 of FATOORA e-invoicing began, taxpayers have been brought in wave by wave, and each new wave lowers the revenue threshold. Wave 25 covers taxpayers whose VAT-subject revenue exceeded SAR 187,500 in any year from 2022 to 2025, with an integration deadline of 1 February 2027. That brings most small and medium businesses into scope.
Perfex CRM does not connect to ZATCA on its own. We build and maintain ZATCA integration modules for Perfex, along with Arabic invoices, local payment gateways and the other changes Saudi companies need, while keeping your installation upgrade-safe.
Perfex CRM Challenges for Saudi Arabia Businesses
ZATCA Phase 1 (Generation) compliance
Phase 1 requires electronic invoices that include the required fields and a QR code on simplified (B2C) invoices. Handwritten or editable-spreadsheet invoices are not allowed. We add the ZATCA QR code, VAT registration fields and the correct invoice titles to Perfex invoices and credit notes.
ZATCA Phase 2 (Integration) with FATOORA
Phase 2 requires invoices in UBL 2.1 XML with a cryptographic stamp, onboarding to get a CSID, clearance of standard B2B tax invoices before they reach the buyer, and reporting of simplified B2C invoices within 24 hours. We build Perfex modules that generate the XML, handle onboarding and certificates, submit invoices to FATOORA, and store the cleared XML and QR codes against each invoice.
Arabic invoices and bilingual documents
Saudi VAT invoices must be issued in Arabic, optionally alongside another language. We build bilingual Arabic/English invoice, quotation and credit-note templates with correct Arabic shaping in PDFs, and set up Perfex's RTL mode for Arabic-speaking staff and customers.
PDPL and data hosting
Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) has been enforced since September 2024. Because Perfex is self-hosted, you control where your data lives. We help deploy Perfex on in-Kingdom hosting where needed and add consent, retention and data-export features for customer records.

Perfex CRM in Saudi Arabia: FAQs
Is Perfex CRM ZATCA compliant?
Not out of the box. Standard Perfex invoices do not include the ZATCA QR code, UBL XML or FATOORA integration. We build modules that add Phase 1 and Phase 2 compliance to your existing Perfex installation.
Which ZATCA wave applies to my business?
Wave 25 covers taxpayers whose VAT-subject revenue exceeded SAR 187,500 in any of 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025, with an integration deadline of 1 February 2027. ZATCA notifies each taxpayer directly at least six months before their deadline, so check your notification or confirm with your tax adviser.
How long does a Perfex ZATCA Phase 2 integration take?
A typical integration, including onboarding, testing in ZATCA's sandbox (developer portal) and go-live, takes two to four weeks, depending on how customized your invoices are and how many branches or devices (EGS units) you need.
Can Perfex CRM issue Arabic invoices?
Yes. We build bilingual Arabic/English templates with proper Arabic font rendering in PDFs, and configure Perfex's RTL mode for Arabic users.
Can customers pay Perfex invoices with mada?
Yes. We integrate Saudi payment gateways such as Moyasar, HyperPay or Tap so customers can pay with mada, credit cards and Apple Pay directly from the invoice link.
